Use
This Quick Pay calculator runs on an HMRC recognised Internet Payroll engine. It is fast and accurate. You are welcome to use it at anytime for your routine payroll calculations. It is a free service. You can calculate the pay for any pay period you want, at any time.
Note: This Quick Pay Calculator functions like a common calculator i.e. it does not store your data in our database. Once you close your browser your data is cleared, and next time you wish to run your pay you have to re-type your data all over again. Data is only stored and re-usable in our Full Payroo version.

Fields Available
- Employer Name: Enter here the Employer's name. This is an optional item and has no bearing on the pay calculation. If you do enter it, they will appear on the payslips.
- Calculation Type: From the drop down menu select Gross pay to Net Pay to calculate the Net Pay which can be calculated either on a Week One/Month One basis or on an Accumulative Basis.
- Calculate tax on Accumulative basic: State whether you wish to calculate the tax, on Accumulative basis or on a Week1/ Month1 basis.
- Week One/Month One basis: Just enter the current Hours/No and Rate amounts to instantly produce your payslips. Tax will be calculated in a non-cumulative basis, as if it was the first week/month of the tax year.
- Accumulative Basis: Please enter the Total Gross Pay To Date and Total PAYE Tax Paid To Date, together with your Basic Pay and Overtime amounts, for an accurate calculation. The tax will be calculated on accumulative basis.
- Select Pay Frequency: From the drop down list select the pay frequency of your employee i.e., how frequently your employee is paid.
- Reset if to process other pay period: Select the appropriate pay period to be processed from the drop down list. The default Processing date will always be determined by the current calendar date. You can select an alternative Pay Period from the drop down list. This period can fall before or after the current default Process Pay Period.
- Employee Title / Name: From the drop down list select the appropriate title and enter the employee's name in the corresponding field.
- Basic Pay: Enter here the employee's basic pay. Basic Pay refers to the number of hours an employee has actually clocked in to work during the specified pay frequency, and the hourly rate of pay they are entitled to receive.
It can be entered as an hours and rate figure, or as a consolidated figure. If the employee is paid a fixed wage i.e., £200 per week, it is also possible to enter this by entering 1 in the Hours/No column and £200 in the Rate column.
- Overtime: Enter here the overtime payment. Overtime is payment for work done in addition to the regular working hours. The rate of pay for overtime is normally more than the regular rate of pay. It can be entered as an hours and rate figure, or as a consolidated figure.
- Tax Code: Enter here the employee's tax code. How much PAYE tax will be deducted depends on the tax code. By default this service has entered the most commonly used tax code for you.
- NI Category: From the drop down list, select the correct NI category. The amount of NI deducted is dependant on which category you select. The most common NI category is A, which is the default setting
- Designation: State whether the employee is a director or an employee.
- Total Gross To Date: Enter here the Total Gross Pay To together with your Basic Pay and Overtime amounts, for an accurate calculation only if you are calculating tax on accumulative basis.
- Total Tax To Date: Enter here the Total PAYE Tax Paid To Date together with your Basic Pay and Overtime amounts, for an accurate calculation, only if you are calculating tax on accumulative basis.
