Car List

Use

Car benefit is a tax on an employee for the benefit of having a car available for private use and is also used to assess liability for Class 1A NICs. It does so by treating the employee as though their earnings for tax were higher by a notional sum (the "cash equivalent" of the benefit).

In this screen you can setup the details of company cars that are available which can be later assigned to your employees.

Employer / Setup > Chart of Setup > P11D Masters > Car & Fuel

Fields Available

• Car Make: The make of the car will be displayed here.
• Car Model: The model of the car will be displayed here.
• Year: This field displays the year in which the car was manufactured.
• Car Regn. No: The registration number of the car will be displayed here.
• Color: The color of the car will be displayed here.
• Date First Registered: This field displays the date on which the car was first registered.
• Fuel Type: This field displays the type of fuel used in the car.
• Action: The various tasks associated with the data in each row will be displayed here. For example Save, Edit, Remove, etc.

Associated Tasks

• Add New Car: To enter a new car to your list of cars, click on this button. It will open the Add New Car screen where you can enter the details of the new car.
• View/Edit: To view or modify the details of the car click on the View/Edit button relating to the respective car.
• Remove: To remove the details of a car click on the Remove button relating to the respective car. A confirmation message will appear. Click on OK to continue.
• Done: If you have finished viewing, creating or modifying the details and wish to leave this screen, click on this button. You will be taken back to the Assign Benefits screen.
