Benefit - I. Private medical treatment or insurance - Edit
Use
This benefit comes into effect when the cost of all medical and dental expenses of an employee are arranged and paid for by the employer / contractor and the employer / contractor pays for all premiums for insurance against such treatment. This screen is used to modify the details of private medical treatment or insurance provided to the particular employee you selected.

Fields Available
The top row displays the details such as name, department, E-Mail address etc., of the selected employee.
Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.
Enter the following details in the Medical Treatment / Insurance Details area.
- Benefit From Date: Enter here the date from which the benefit was made available to the employee. You can use the calendar button to enter the date.
- Benefit To Date: Enter here the date up to which the benefit was made available to the employee. You can use the calendar button to enter the date.
- Medical / Insurance Type: From the drop down list, selected type of medical treatment or insurance will be displayed here.
- Memo: Enter here any additional information regarding the benefit.
Enter the following details further.
- (I 1) Annual Premium Amount for the treatment / insurance: Enter here the amount of annual premium paid for treatment / insurance.
- (I 2) Do You want to Prorate the Annual Premium Amount Paid? If you wish to prorate the annual premium amount paid, select Yes from the drop down list. If you do not wish to prorate the annual premium amount paid, then select No from the drop down list.
- (I 3) Pro-rated Annual Premium for treatment / Insurance for the tax year: If you selected the Yes option in the above field, then this field displays the prorated annual premium amount paid for the treatment / insurance.
- (I 4)Amount made good by employee or amount subjected to tax: Enter here the amount that the employee has paid towards the benefit.
- (I) Total Cash Equivalent Amount (I 3 - I 4): The cash equivalent amount will be displayed here.
Associated Tasks
- Cancel: If you wish to exit this screen without saving the changes, click on this button. You will be taken back to the Private medical treatment or insurance View screen.
- Save: To save the details, click on this button. The Private medical treatment or insurance - View screen will appear displaying the modified details.
