Edit Timesheet
Use
You can edit the timesheet records for the chosen employee on this screen. The timesheet record includes normal working hours, overtime, absence payment and statutory payment. Please note that the rates are not entered in the timesheet. Only hours can be entered. You can import these hours in Internet Payroll.
Please note the following:
- You can add a new record, only if you have assigned employee to a project.
- You cannot add a new timesheet record for a week that has not yet started.
- You cannot add a timesheet record for a same role of a project twice.
- You cannot import the timesheet to Payroll that is rejected or not yet approved.
- You should submit the timesheet data after saving the data for approval / rejection.

Fields Available
TS1. Normal Working Hours
In this section, enter the number of hours the employee worked on each day.
- Project / Activity: From the drop down list, select the project for which you would like to enter the working hours. Please note that, only the projects that are assigned to this employee will be displayed here.
- Billing Type / Role: From the drop down list, select the role of the employee corresponding to the project you selected. If the desired role is not listed, go to role setup under chart of setup to set up the role you want. Further add this role to the project to appear in the timesheet.
- Total: The number of working hours entered for the week will be summed up and displayed here.
- Weeks Total: The total number of working hours for the entered weeks will be displayed here.
TS2. Overtime
In this section, enter the number of overtime hours employee has worked.
- Project / Activity: From the drop down list, select the project for which you would like to enter the Overtime hours. Please note that, only the projects that are assigned to this employee will be displayed here.
- Billing Type / Role: From the drop down list, select the role of the employee corresponding to the project you selected. If the desired role is not listed, go to role setup under chart of setup to set up the role you want. Further add this role to the project to appear in the timesheet.
- Total: The number of overtime hours entered for the week will be summed up and displayed here.
- Weeks Total: The total number of overtime hours for the entered weeks will be displayed here.
Absence Payment
Here you can enter the number of days / hours the employee was absent from work. When you import the timesheet data for this week, the absence payment data will be also imported into Payroll. Please note that, you have to manually key in the rates for the absence payment in Payroll, if you are paying the employee for absence, as you cannot enter the rates in Timesheet.
- Type: The most common Absence payment types are pre-set for you by our service. To enter one simply select it from the drop down list. If none of the pre-set items are suitable you can create your own by going to the Absence Payment & Record Setup in the Chart of Setup section under Employer / Setup on the tasking zone.
- Total: The number of hours entered for the week will be summed up and displayed here.
- Weeks Total: The total number of hours for the entered weeks will be displayed here.
TS4. Statutory Payment
Tick the dates on which the employee had taken SSP. The data will automatically appear in Payroll once you import this timesheet.
- Type: The Statutory payment type will be displayed here. Please note that you can enter only the statutory sick payment details here. You cannot enter the other statutory payment details.
Associated Tasks
- Edit: To edit the entered data, click on this button.
- Save: To save the entered data, click on this button.
- Remove: To remove the entered data, click on this button.
- Back: If you have finished viewing the details and wish to leave this screen, click on this button.
- Submit: To submit the saved timesheet data for approval / rejection click on this button.
