Add New Project - Project Essential Details
Use
You can add new project details on this screen. The project information includes the project name, client name, rates etc. You can define the standard billing rate for the project and also overtime. In addition to the standard billing rate, if the project requires any additional roles, those are charged at different rates, then you can enter the rates for the respective role. You can also add the expenses allowed to incur in this project.

Employer / setup > Project Setup > Add Project
Fields Available
Fields marked with red asterisks are mandatory.
Project Information
- Project Name: Enter here the project name.
- Clients Name: From the drop down list select the client name corresponding to the project.
- Project Code: Enter the project code here.
- Standard Billing Rates/Hour (£): Enter here the standard billing rate for this project to charge to your client. Please note that standard billing rate you enter here will be replicated in the timesheet when you select the billing type for a project corresponding to a employee.
- Overtime Rates / hour in % (against Rates / hour): Enter here the overtime rate in percentage. The overtime rate is standard billing rate plus overtime percentage of the standard billing rate. Please be careful when you enter the number. The number you enter here will be taken as percentage. For example, if the standard billing rate per hour is £ 10 and Overtime is 25%, then the Overtime rate per hour would be £ 10(standard billing rate/hour) + 25% of £10 (standard billing rate/hour)= £ 10 + £ 2.5 = £ 12.5. So the overtime rate per hour would be £ 12.5
- VAT: From the drop down list, select the VAT you would like to charge to the client. To set up the VAT go to Rate of VAT setup in chart of Setup section under Employer / Setup in the tasking zone.
Additional Roles and Rates per Hour
- Roles: From the drop down list select the role the project requires. If the existing roles does not satisfy your requirements, go to Role Setup in chart of setup section under Employer / Setup in the tasking zone and setup the roles according to your requirements.
- Rate Per Hour (£): Enter here the rates per hour corresponding to the respective roles.
- Action: The various tasks associated with the data in each row will be displayed here. For example Save, Edit, Delete, etc.
Allowed Expenses
- Add: Click on Add to add expenses that are allowed to incur in this project.
Associated Tasks
- Save: If you are sure about all the entries you entered, click on this button. You will be taken back to Project Details screen where you can view the added details
- Back: If you wish to exit this screen without saving the changes, click on this button.
