Ongoing Mileage Record (Bicycle) - View

Use

Mileage allowance payments are defined as "amounts (other than passenger payments) paid to an employee in respect of expenses in connection with the use by him for business travel of a qualifying vehicle". If the employer / contractor pays more than the AMAPs (Approved Mileage Allowance Payments) amount, the excess should be returned on form P11D.

Passenger payments can be paid to

•  Employees' using their own car or van (and so eligible for approved mileage allowance payments)
•  Employees' using a company vehicle for which they are charged tax for the benefit in kind (but not eligible for mileage allowance payments).

If the employer / contractor pays more than the maximum amount, the excess should be returned on form P11D. In this screen you can view the details of the mileage payment made to the selected employee for using a bicycle.

Assign Benefits > Mileage allowance and passenger payments > Bicycle > View / Update > View/Edit

Fields Available

The top row displays the details such as name, department, E-Mail address etc. of the selected employee.

Ongoing mileage records

• Date of Travel: This field displays the date on which the employee travelled using the bicycle and for which the mileage payment was made.
• Memo: This field displays the purpose for which the employee used the bicycle for which you provided mileage allowance.
• Total business miles travelled by the employee: This field displays the total miles travelled by the employee for business purpose.
• Mileage Rate: This field displays the mileage rate you provide per mile.
• Mileage allowance payments made to employee: This field displays the total mileage allowance payment made to the employee.
• Amount made good by employee: If the employee has paid you back any amount then this field displays the amount paid by the employee.

Associated Tasks

• Done: If you have finished viewing the details and wish to leave this screen, click on this button. You will be taken back to the Ongoing Mileage Record (Bicycle) - List screen.
• Edit: To edit the details of the car provided, click on this button. It opens the Ongoing Mileage Record (Bicycle) - Edit screen.
