View P6 / P9 Details

Use

Data Provisioning Service (DPS) is a new system introduced by HMRC, which is a replacement for the Secure Mail Service. All the coding notices (P6, P9), student loan notices (SL1, SL2) and reminders issued during the current tax year and for the coming tax year can be directly downloaded from HMRC using our payroll application.

Our service enables you to login to HMRC and download the ongoing notices such as P6, P9, SL1, SL2, PGL1, PGL2 Expenses and Benefits, and End of year returns notices. You are also provided with the facility to view and download the notices in CSV format onto your local system. This screen displays the P6 / P9 notice details downloaded from HMRC. The screen lists the employees whose coding details has been changed and also displays other details like their new tax code, NINo, previous pay, previous tax, issue date and effective date. You can also view the P6 / P9 notice of the individual employee from this screen.

Please Note : The Tax Code Auto Update facilities are now enabled within our system. Your tax codes and Student Loans will now be automatically updated if you enter the HMRC e-filing credential into the system. So that we recommend you not use this manual download function as your tax code P6, P9, SL1, SL2 has all been automatically updated through auto tax code update twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday. You may use this function as a last resort.

Fields Available

• Works No.: The employee's works number will be displayed here.
• Employee Name: The employee's name will be displayed here.
• DPS Index No.: The DPS index number corresponding to the appropriate notice downloaded will be displayed here.
• Tax Code: The new tax code corresponding to the appropriate employee will be displayed here.
• NINo: The employee's National Insurance number corresponding to the appropriate employee will be displayed here.
• Previous Pay: The employee's previous pay will be displayed here.
• Previous Tax: The employee's previous tax will be displayed here.
• Issue Date: The tax code change notice issued date will be displayed here.
• Effective Date: The date on which the new tax code must start effectively will be displayed here corresponding to the appropriate employee.
• Auto Tax Code Update Status: The green tick mark corresponding to each employee displayed here shows that the Tax code has been successfully updated for this employee by our Global Tax code update system. If you see a red cross mark, it means that the tax code has not been auto updated. You have to manually update the tax code for this employee. If you move the mouse on the red cross mark, the reason for failure will be displayed.
